YK-11 Myostine Capsules SARM is a synthetic steroid compound that researchers discovered in 2011. Japanese scientist Yuichiro Kanno published peer-reviewed studies on it in 2013. Unlike traditional SARMs, YK-11 also works as a potent myostatin inhibitor. This gives it the unique ability to increase muscle growth beyond that of typical SARMs. YK-11 is a research chemical for research purposes, and its safety and effectiveness are still unproven.

United States Researchers consider YK-11 a steroidal selective androgen receptor modulator. It binds to androgen receptors as a partial androgen receptor agonist. In this way, it activates anabolic factors in muscle tissue. These anabolic effects boost muscle development and may prevent muscle wasting.

As a myostatin inhibitor, YK-11 increases follistatin expression, which then blocks myostatin levels from exerting their full effect (it does not stop myostatin production). Does YK-11 Require Post-Cycle Therapy (PCT)?

YK-11 may affect hormones and natural testosterone production. This raises the chance that post-cycle therapy could be required to restore balance and reduce negative side effects. Reports say some individuals consider PCT important, but controlled human studies have not defined the actual need or best method.

Researchers are also studying YK-11 for its possible role in fat loss and reducing body fat. It may also preserve lean muscle in cases of weakness. These ideas remain limited to animal models.
